Shrimp porridge

300g Shrimp (really up to you, very little will do)
1 1/2 cup of rice
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Rice - if you have the time, ground the rice or blend it so you'll get a creamy-porridge-structure later.
Cook in about 2 litres of water

Shrimp - mince it into small pieces. And its taste will seep into the porridge! Yummy~

Add the shrimp into the cooking pot where you have the cooking rice.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

(If you eat veggies, might wanna add 'em too! Right before you add the shrimp!)

You know you're porridge is ready when - you grab a spoon and taste a mouthful and the rice seems cooked and the food tastet good and you're so happy that you can actually cook something good that you feel like crying. Haha.

Really peeps. Just try it.

Egg tart filling

1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup whipping cream
4 egg yolks
3 drops vanilla essence

Mix em all together.

Whip! By hand - 10 minutes. Machine - 3 minutes.

Put filling into ready-made pastry.

Bake about 25-30 minutes at 190 degree celcius.

Makes about 12 egg tart!

goreng-goreng

Because Czech is in Europe, maka, we'll be seeing lots of pasta.
Cara nak buat pasta goreng pulak, cam lain sikit daripada kita buat nasi goreng.
Sebab pasta tu diperbuat daripada tepung.
Biasanya, makan pasta kat sana, buat macam salad. Just campur dengan mayonis, olive oil, veggie, salt, pepper, chicken chunks, potato chunks, cheese etc. Ape2 je lah yang kite rase sesuai. Pastu, makan! Kan senang.

Tapi, ingredients yang macam best kalau nak buat pasta goreng adelah:
Pasta yang dah masak
Minyak
Bawang (potong dadu)
Tomato/Tomato paste
(might wanna tumis bawang and tomato paste, kasi wangi dulu)
Sausage/chicken
Herbs and spices (oregano, pepper etc.)
Telur
Or kalau nak seafood, letak la prawns, sotong, mussels etc. Yumm.. terliur...
Veggie
Kalau nak pedas, tumis cili giling awal2 OR just add a few drops of TOBASCO sauce... hot mama...

Rules nak goreng2? Simple.
Just masukkan bahan yg lambat masak dulu, diikuti dengan bahan yg cepat masak.
Lagi lame u menggoreng dalam kuali tu, lagi sedap masakan sebab die punya flavoring semua meresap masuk dengan bahagianye ke dlm pasta tu. Makan pasta goreng setiap hari pun tak jemu.

Oh, tak sabar lak nak memasak. Chef Nora. ekekekeke...

Puding jagung - resipi turun temurun

Before I start, sorry Rian, for the delay of this recipe!! Hehe..
Anyway, people, I think this is the easiest party dish ever. Serves a lot too!!!

About 300g of custard flour
1 can of corn in syrup (the one our moms make soup with)
1 can of light creamer
6 cans of H2O (use above cans to measure)
About 4 senduk nasi of sugar

Mix all of the above ingredients in a pot.
Cook on big fire at first (I'm imaging bonfire, but of course, I don't mean that), constantly stirring the mixture.
And when the texture gets all thickened up, do put on slow fire, stirring still.
You can dip the spatula to taste the pudding.
Add sugar to taste.
Let the mixture boil (its thick, yeah, but when it bubbles, thats to mean it is boiling).
Remove from pot into desired container (just chuck in a big container of if you're rajin, you can put in small decorative container).
Eureka! I give you, corn pudding.

Serve with some sweet gravy. Might want to try and mix light creamer, corn flour, sugar. Simmer till you get desired thickness/taste. Then again, the pudding is fine by itself.

I heard tepung custard tidak ada di Czech. NOOO!!!!
