goreng-goreng

Because Czech is in Europe, maka, we'll be seeing lots of pasta.
Cara nak buat pasta goreng pulak, cam lain sikit daripada kita buat nasi goreng.
Sebab pasta tu diperbuat daripada tepung.
Biasanya, makan pasta kat sana, buat macam salad. Just campur dengan mayonis, olive oil, veggie, salt, pepper, chicken chunks, potato chunks, cheese etc. Ape2 je lah yang kite rase sesuai. Pastu, makan! Kan senang.

Tapi, ingredients yang macam best kalau nak buat pasta goreng adelah:
Pasta yang dah masak
Minyak
Bawang (potong dadu)
Tomato/Tomato paste
(might wanna tumis bawang and tomato paste, kasi wangi dulu)
Sausage/chicken
Herbs and spices (oregano, pepper etc.)
Telur
Or kalau nak seafood, letak la prawns, sotong, mussels etc. Yumm.. terliur...
Veggie
Kalau nak pedas, tumis cili giling awal2 OR just add a few drops of TOBASCO sauce... hot mama...

Rules nak goreng2? Simple.
Just masukkan bahan yg lambat masak dulu, diikuti dengan bahan yg cepat masak.
Lagi lame u menggoreng dalam kuali tu, lagi sedap masakan sebab die punya flavoring semua meresap masuk dengan bahagianye ke dlm pasta tu. Makan pasta goreng setiap hari pun tak jemu.

Oh, tak sabar lak nak memasak. Chef Nora. ekekekeke...

Puding jagung - resipi turun temurun

Before I start, sorry Rian, for the delay of this recipe!! Hehe..
Anyway, people, I think this is the easiest party dish ever. Serves a lot too!!!

About 300g of custard flour
1 can of corn in syrup (the one our moms make soup with)
1 can of light creamer
6 cans of H2O (use above cans to measure)
About 4 senduk nasi of sugar

Mix all of the above ingredients in a pot.
Cook on big fire at first (I'm imaging bonfire, but of course, I don't mean that), constantly stirring the mixture.
And when the texture gets all thickened up, do put on slow fire, stirring still.
You can dip the spatula to taste the pudding.
Add sugar to taste.
Let the mixture boil (its thick, yeah, but when it bubbles, thats to mean it is boiling).
Remove from pot into desired container (just chuck in a big container of if you're rajin, you can put in small decorative container).
Eureka! I give you, corn pudding.

Serve with some sweet gravy. Might want to try and mix light creamer, corn flour, sugar. Simmer till you get desired thickness/taste. Then again, the pudding is fine by itself.

I heard tepung custard tidak ada di Czech. NOOO!!!!

spaghetti - hentam

There's two ways kitorang masak spaghetti at home.
1. Using Tomato Paste/Tomato Puree
2. Use Prego

For number 2, it's very simple.
Just simmer the sauce and add whatever it is you want in your gravy (i.e. beef chunks/chicken/mushroom/bell pepper/eggs).
Make sure you follow the order of placing ingredients with longer cooking time followed by those that needs little time to cook (i.e. mushroom).
And lastly, salt and pepper to taste.

As for the first one, there's additional steps to take.
Tumis these ingredients: Onion(diced), cumin, cinnamon, tomato paste.
When it smells good enough, add the meat/mutton.
Add generous amount of water, dependent on whether you want a light sauce to go with your spaghetti or a thick one!
Add the sediments, salt and pepper.
Let simmer till its smell/taste to your desire.

Hey, thats two recipes in one. Cool.
The pasta? Just cook it the way written on the pack. Add salt if you wanna die of high blood pressure.
Only joking! Do add considerate amount if it's to your taste.

I call the above, my hentam method. Just do whatever you like, so that your cooking will turn out however you like. Just don't burnt them off (your cookings). Ha! Enjoy!

Potato and Mushroom Snack

Ingredients:
Potato - 1 kg (or any amount you like)
Capsicum - 3 to 4 (more color, the merrier)
Button mushroom - 1 can
Instant Mushroom Soup - 1 packet
Salt and Pepper to taste

Method:
1. Bring potato to boil, when cooked, skin and mash like crazy!!!
2. Slice/dice/whatever, the capsicum and button mushroom.
3. If you can't/don't eat them raw, might as well dip in boiling water till satisfied (your eating it, your not trying to impress anyone).
4. Now, the easy part... mix potato, capsicum, button mushroom and sprinkle some salt and pepper to taste. Press em' hard in a container so that they become squashed!
5. Prepare the soup and serve with whatever you got earlier! (It's like eating cake with sauce). Yummy.

Caramel

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 can of sweetened creamer (not the light one)
1 can of water (use above can)
2 tablespoons of sugar

Method:
1. Blend all the ingredients EXCEPT the sugar till mixed properly.
2.On a pan (which later will be placed in steaming pot), heat sugar until it liquefies and turns into golden-red colour.
3. Remove pan from stove and pour in the blended ingredients into pan.
4. Place in a steamer and let cook for 45 minutes.
5. When done, let cool and refrigerate.
6. When hungry, topple the content onto plate and savor!!!
